Evening Rise

Join Silver Thread in meditating on the musical and poetic world of evening, tracing the gradual transformation of the landscape as daylight gives way to dusk.

Through songs shaped by images of sunset, twilight, nature, and reflection, the programme considers evening as both a time of transition and a space for contemplation. Featuring selections from Rachmaninoff’s ‘All-Night Vigil’, alongside works by: Hugo Alfvén, Josef Rheinberger, Francesca Hauser, Arvo Pärt, Shireen Abu-Khader, Mishaal Surti, Eleanor Daley, Levente Gyöngyösi, Alfred Schnittke, and Lajos Bardos.
