It will feature the premieres of nineteen new choral works by emerging composers.

Young Choral Artists Festival

On April 12th, join us for the Young Choral Artists Festival, hosted by Modern Sound Collective’s Datsuzoku, at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church. This inspiring event features choirs from Oneill Collegiate, Cawthra Park Secondary School, and North Toronto Collegiate, coming together for a day filled with rehearsals, workshops, and collaboration. Throughout the day, these talented young singers will connect, learn, and grow as they share their passion for music.

The festival culminates in an evening concert at 7:30 PM, where the choirs will showcase the power of youth in choral music. This performance celebrates the unique energy and creativity of young voices, while highlighting the profound ability of music to bring people together, forming lasting and meaningful connections. Experience this extraordinary celebration of community, artistry, and the next generation of choral talent!
